Kick MLD in the BootY

Another great fundraiser in Stanton Michigan. Thank you ALL for helping us fight MLD.

Madeline Britton Trimper

Madeline Britton Trimper
January 17, 1998-November 7, 2005
We miss her.

New York City

After many months of battling the EBV virus, we were flown to NYC on Monday, October 10, 2005. Dr. O"Reilly has a new treatment for EBV. He will infuse Maddie with Jeff's T cells. This will hopefully rid Maddie of the EBV mass.

Back To North Carolina

Sunday, April 30 2005
Maddie and Jane went back to Duke University to see Dr. Kurtzberg. Maddie was having some issues. They have been there over three months now. Maddie has a mass in her stomach/colon area. They have identified it as the EBV virus. She has had a couple of very scary moments. She’s been in PICU twice and was back on 5200 for a few weeks. She is now out of the hospital trying to get better. We have no idea how long this will take. We will do anything we need to do to get her better and home.

Detroit Pistons

Max and I went to the Piston's game April 1. We met Coach Larry Brown and he took us in the locker room to meet the players. Thanks Penny, Mary and George Blaha, Dave and Coach Brown. We had a great time!

2005 Stanton MLD Fundraiser

Another great fundraiser in Stanton Michigan. We raised almost $20,000 for MLD research. Thank you to every one who helped make this possible!

Christmas 2004

Maddie made it home for Christmas. She went back to Duke November 15 with some issues. She made it home on December 22. It was great to be home for Christmas.

Nine Month Visit/Gallbladder Visit

Went down to Duke for our nine month test. We ended up staying for almost two months. Maddie had some issues and had to have her gallbladder taken out. She's doing fine.

Duke Fellowships

We made our goal for two fellows for two years at Duke University! Thank you all!

Bethany's Hope Gala

Another great year in London, Ontario.

We made it HOME!

By mid February, we were all home from North Carolina. It feels good to be home!

Christmas 2003

We had a nice Christmas. It was hard to be away from home, family and friends. We got the best present of all, three healthy kids.

Hunters Hope

Don, Marcia, Cindy and Carl went to Hunter Hope's Gala in Buffalo Thanksgiving weekend. They had a great time and enjoyed meeting the Kelly family.

"Home" from the Hospital

Maddie and Sam are "home" from the hospital. All three kids are doing well.

Duke University

Friday, October 3, Maddie and Sam had their transplants. Things went well. We had a nice celebration for the new cells. Now we hope and pray for the cells to do their work.

Crusher Golf Outing

Jane and I would like to thank the organizers and everyone you played in the outing. Great bunch of people!

Hunter's Hope Foundation

Jane and I went to Buffalo to visit Hunter's Hope Foundation. We were very impressed with their foundation and their direction. Thank you all for your time. We did get to meet Hunter, Jill and Jim Kelly. It was a pleasure.

Charlevoix Benefit

The Charlevoix benefit was a a huge success! Thanks to everyone involved. Like the other benefits, there is no way Jane and I can express all our appreciation enough.

New York City.

Jeff and Jill spent three days in New York City to find help spreading the word on MLD. Thank you to everyone in New York for your help and commitment in our fight against MLD.

Sam Turns FOUR!

We had a great family birthday party for Sam. We wish we could make time stand still! What a great day!

Chesaning Golf Outing

What a great day for some golf. Thanks to all the people who planned this event and played! Great day!

Bethanys Hope Foundation

We sent eight people to the Bethany Hope Foundation's gala in London, Ontario. We met several wonderful people that have committed themselves to find a cure for MLD. We met with some doctors that gave us 2 1/2 hours of their time to sit and talk with us. We were very glad we made the trip. This will be an annual event for us.
